Well, that’s all too fitting for what we’re seeing right now unfold with Mark Meadows and Nancy Pelosi’s January 6th sham committee. Early on, Meadows, who was President Trump’s chief of staff, agreed to cooperate with the committee and sent over thousands of pages of non-classified documents and text messages for Pelosi and her jackals to review. But that wasn’t good enough.
Today, a verdict was finally reached in the highly-publicized trial of Jussie Smollett. The hate crime hoaxer was found guilty of five of the six counts against him, and some prison time is likely to follow. But while Smollett is having a bad night completely of his own making, the left’s evening isn’t going much better. An untold number of mainstream media figures and Democrat politicians got out over their skis regarding Smollett when he first made his false claims. Instead of waiting for the facts, they launched into self-righteous denunciations of their own country, preening about their disgust and the supposed pervasiveness of white supremacy. Was that driven by honest concern? Of course not. Rather it was driven by a desperation to try to tie the non-occurrence to Donald Trump and Re...
According to a new report, Apple CEO Tim Cook secretly signed a $275 billion agreement years ago with the Chinese government in which he promised Apple would aid China’s economy and tech industries with investments as well as worker training. The Information reported on Tuesday, “iPhone recently became the top-selling smartphone in China, its second-biggest market after the U.S., for the first time in six years. But the company owes much of that success to CEO Tim Cook, who laid the foundation years ago by secretly signing an agreement, estimated to be worth more than $275 billion, with Chinese officials promising Apple would do its part to develop China’s economy and technological prowess through investments, business deals and worker training.” “Cook forged the five-year agreement, which...
The FBI has been ordered by a federal judge to stop plundering information from James O’Keefe’s phone following a raid on his home and other properties connected with Project Veritas last weekend. The raid was a chilling and frightening overreach by law enforcement of protected journalistic work product. O’Keefe has said that his phone offers a window into what other projects he and his staff are working on — projects the Biden Administration may not want him to cover. The FBI raided O’Keefe’s apartment about 6 a.m. on Saturday with a phalanx of agents taking his electronics and other information, which they claimed would help discover how the journalist came into possession of President Biden’s daughter’s diary. They claim the diary was stolen. O’Keefe denies that characterization. The pr...
Parents of students in the Scottsdale Unified School District were shocked to discover that a school board member had secretly compiled a dossier detailing parents who opposed critical race theory. The dossier was compiled on Google Drive and contained a list of parents who objected to teachings about CRT; it included photographs of both the parents and their children. Parents who had been calling for the recall of Governing Board President Jann-Michael Greenburg are now demanding he resign over the secret dossier, to which he had access. “I am calling for the immediate resignation of our board president Jann-Michael Greenburg,” said Amy Carney, a mother of six, who is now running for a seat on the Scottsdale Governing Board.
According to its Veronica Stein, who fired them, its volunteer docents of 15 years average experience needed to be fired because they are white. t turns out that older, well-to-do, white women volunteer at greater rates than those in other demographic categories. The solution to this terrible, horrible, no good, very bad problem? Fire volunteers. The Art Institute of Chicago fired its docents en masse. The reason? The 100 or so unpaid gallery guides, though priced right at free, embarrassed the museum’s leadership because of their whiteness. “As a civic institution, we acknowledge our responsibility to rebuild the volunteer educator program in a way that allows community members of all income levels to participate, responds to issues of class and income equity, and does not require financi...
Americans are no longer living under representative government. We are living under government by the screen people, of the screen people, for the screen people. Yes, we’ve heard all about Joe Biden’s alleged vaccine mandate for private companies employing 100 or more people. It was all over the news even before he announced it on September 9. His announcement has jeopardized the employment of millions of Americans and increased worker shortages in critical domains such as health care. There’s only one problem. It’s all a mirage. Biden’s so-called vaccine mandate doesn’t exist — at least, not yet. So far, all we have is his press conference and other such made-for-media huff-puffing. No such rule even claiming to be legally binding has been issued yet. That’s why nearly two dozen Republica...
More than one-fifth of the nation’s largest 100 school districts have contracts with a Critical Race Theory-tinged firm cofounded by the son-in-law of Attorney General Merrick Garland, who recently raised the specter of involving the FBI against parents who express anger over CRT and other issues at school board meetings. Garland’s daughter is married to Xan Tanner, a cofounder of Panorama Education, which issues surveys to students asking if they are feeling “genderfluid,” and asks, “How confident are you that students at your school can have honest conversations with each other about race?” At least one district’s contract says all of the personal student data is sent to the company — which is funded by Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg — under a loophole that circumvents a requirement for pare...
Well, well, well… This is interesting. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland recently instructed the FBI to begin investigating parents who confront school board administrators over Critical Race Theory indoctrination material. The U.S. Department of Justice issued a memorandum to the FBI instructing them to initiate investigations of any parent attending a local school board meeting who might be viewed as confrontational, intimidating or harassing. Attorney General Merrick Garland’s daughter is Rebecca Garland. In 2018 Rebecca Garland married Xan Tanner [LINK]. Mr. Xan Tanner is the current co-founder of a controversial education service company called Panorama Education. [LINK and LINK] Panorama Education is the “social learning” resource material provider to school districts and tea...
Open Society Foundation gave Living United $1.5 million in 2019 Progressive billionaire George Soros is bankrolling the left-wing activist group whose members accosted Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D., Ariz.) in a bathroom over the weekend. Activists with Living United for Change in Arizona filmed Sinema while she was teaching at Arizona State University on Saturday after she refused to meet with the organization to discuss her opposition to a $3.5 trillion “Build Back Better” spending bill. Soros’s Open Society Foundation is Living United’s biggest donor. The group gave $1.5 million to Living United in 2019 and $250,000 in 2017, according to the philanthropy’s grants database. Living United reported around $1.7 million in revenue in 2019 and $328,000 in 2017. The Living United activist...
