Since 1976 federal law has used the Hyde Amendment to protect U.S. taxpayers from directly funding abortions. This law has heldup throughout multiple court cases and Administrations. Now, the Hyde Amendment is in jeopardy of being repealed. President Biden and the Left are attempting to eliminate this protection for U.S. taxpayers and the U.S. House Appropriations subcommittee has now drafted a bill to begin this process. ACLJ Director of Government Affairs Thann Bennett, who has broken down this issue in detail in a new article, explained how the Left in the U.S. House of Representatives is trying to strip away the Hyde Amendment: For the first time since 1976 . . . I would start by saying that this is an issue that pro-life, pro-choice, Republican, Democrat, and independent Ameri...

In a letter this morning to Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.), 48 Republican senators have pledged to oppose any spending bill that does not contain the Hyde amendment or other pro-life protections. Since 1976, Hyde has been added on a bipartisan basis to federal spending bills to prevent taxpayer money from directly reimbursing abortion providers for the cost of elective abortions.
I saw the movie “Unplanned” on Friday afternoon, April 5th. I wanted to know the woman’s story and to understand what was going on within the abortion industry and why the pro-abortion crowd was so upset with the movie. I now have a much clearer understanding!
They Kiss Babies, Then Steal Their Formula!
In 2016, The American Feminist published an article profiling former abortion workers. One worker, named Rhyan, worked at Planned Parenthood for four months, but quit because she became disgusted with the constant pressure put on her to sell abortions. She also saw that patients at Planned Parenthood were treated differently depending on their race. Originally hired as an appointment scheduler, she quickly discovered her real job was talking as many women into abortions as possible. The American Feminist article states:
Last week, I testified before the House Judiciary subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice, on HR 490, also known as the Heartbeat Bill. The bill, introduced by Iowa Republican congressman Steve King, prohibits abortion of an unborn child once the child’s heartbeat is detectable.
The 43rd annual “March For Life” is already drawing large crowds in Washington, D.C. Friday morning.A rally near the Washington Monument started shortly before noon, where speakers are to include Vice-President Mike Pence, Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), Rep. Mia Love (R-UT), and Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ).
Six years ago, a deeply disturbing story emerged from a poor neighorhood in Philadelphia. In a horrific 261-page report, prosecutors accused abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell of delivering seven babies alive and then killing them by snipping their spines with scissors. He also allowed a woman who had survived 20 years as a refugee in Nepal to be incompetently overmedicated. She died at his clinic. Documentary filmmakers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney have written a new book titled Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer.Journalists will sneer, since they somehow suggest abortion is a “choice,” not murder. This monster chose to kill. He is the face of the abortionist.
Christian clergy joined other religious leaders in celebrating and “blessing” the opening of a new abortion mega-clinic in Washington, DC, calling it “sacred work”. “In almost every message to our staff, I talk about our doing sacred work,” Dr. Laura Meyers, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, told news outlets. “This confirms the sacredness of the work we do.” The event was organized by the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice and Christine and Dennis Wiley, who lead Covenant Baptist United Church of Christ in Washington, D.C.

Last night at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony, Meryl Streep rode atop a high horse with diamond and pearl encrusted reins, with a luxurious flowing mane and tail that emanated heavenly light as Hollywood applauded with sanctimonious approval. And like Hollywood in general, it was all an elaborate illusion. In a speech that lamented the fact that the American people vilify Hollywood, Streep took aim at Donald Trump, specifically for his supposed imitation of a disabled:
Wrapping up a medical residency, most doctors are focused on establishing themselves in their chosen field, joining a practice and starting the long process of paying down the student loans that have piled up over the previous decade. But as William Lile concluded his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Florida in 1999, he had his sights set a notch higher.
