Awkward: Trump University Case Gets Started On First Day Of Republican Convention

On Monday, U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel issued an order that scheduled the initial hearing in the Cohen v. Trump case for July 18, the same day the GOP convention begins.

In all too typical fashion, Trump whined back in February that Curiel seemed to be biased against him because Curiel “happens to be Spanish,” thus hostile to Trump’s rhetoric against illegal immigration. Trump stated, “I think it has to do perhaps with the fact that I’m very, very strong on the border, very, very strong at the border, and he has been extremely hostile to me.” Read full article
